Mandatory Fun debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart. It's the first time that Al has ever had a #1 album - in fact, it's the first time a comedy album has topped the Billboard chart in over 50 years (and the first time a comedy album has debuted at #1 in HISTORY!) Thank you all for your support - we couldn't have done it without you!!

Behind the scenes of the “Word Crimes” music video.

Thanks to our pals at TruScribe Videos for this wonderful tribute:

Al performed live with Andy Samberg at the 2014 Emmy Awards, doing a medley of TV themes that were badly in need of lyrics. Watch it here!
Al was recently featured on The Meltdown with Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani, performing "Dare to Be Stupid"... with a string quartet!
"Word Crimes" debuted at #39 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Al another distinction. Only 3 artists have had singles that charted in the Top 40 in each of the last 4 decades: Michael Jackson, Madonna, and now "Weird Al" Yankovic.
In November, Shout! Factory will be releasing UHF on Blu-ray (finally!!) as well as the long out-of-print mockumentary The Compleat Al.
Al has recently done a reddit AMA, as well as podcasts such as Comedy Bang Bang, Never Not Funny, Jonah Raydio and Doug Loves Movies!
Watch for Al to start popping up all over your TV set in the upcoming months, including appearances on Garfunkel & Oates (IFC), Comedy Bang Bang (IFC), Kid President and Hotwives of Orlando.
Al takes on the role of Sir Isaac Newton in Epic Rap Battles of History! Who wins? You decide!
