Q:  Can I purchase a Weird Al VIP Package over the phone or at the Box Office?

A:  No, Weird Al VIP Packages may only be purchased online on the Tour Page at weirdal.com.

Q: I’VE SEEN “VIP PACKAGES” ALSO BEING OFFERED FOR THIS SHOW BY THE VENUE OR BY OUTSIDE TICKET VENDORS. DO THEY INCLUDE THE SAME ITEMS AS THE WEIRD AL PACKAGES OFFERED HERE?

A:  No, Weird Al VIP packages may only be purchased at weirdal.com.  VIP Packages available anywhere else do not include any of the items offered in our packages.

Q: Am I able to purchase a VIP Package even though I don’t have a ticket to the show?

A:  No, you must have a ticket to the show to attend a VIP event.  You will be asked to present your ticket at VIP Check-In.

Q:  Does the VIP Package have a minimum age?

A:  Most shows are open to guests of all ages; however, the age policy may vary with each venue.  If you have a show ticket, you can purchase and attend the VIP event! 

Q:  Is my VIP Package refundable?

A:  No, like most show tickets, VIP Packages are non-refundable.

Q:  Am I able to purchase a VIP Package as a gift, or transfer my package to someone else?

A:  Yes, provided the new guest who is the recipient of the gift or transfer has a ticket to that night’s show.  You will need to furnish them with:

  • A photocopy of your photo ID
  • A note from you authorizing the new guest to attend the VIP event in your place.

They can present these at VIP Check-In either in digital or paper form.  Please include your cell number on the note in case we need to contact you.  Note that the email we send out with VIP Check-In Info is sent to actual purchasers only, so you will need to forward your informational email to your guest.

Q: WHERE DO I GO FOR MY VIP EXPERIENCE AFTER I CHECK IN?

A: Upon Check-In, a member of our in-person VIP Team will instruct you where to go for the Post-Show Meet & Greet and also for the Pre-Show Backstage Tour if you have purchased that package.

Q:  When and where do I check in as a VIP Guest?

A:  While the exact time and location may vary with every show, VIP Check-In generally starts 60 minutes before doors open to the public; 2 hours before doors for guests who have purchased packages with the Backstage Tour included.  Doors usually open 60 minutes before the show starts. Check-in ends 30 minutes after the show starts.  Check-In is usually located just outside the front venue doors.  The exact time and location for VIP Check-In and full details for your show and will be outlined in the information email you will receive from us 5 to 7 days prior to your show.

Q: WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE PRE-SHOW PRIVATE BACKSTAGE TOUR?

A: Check-In for the Private Backstage Tour begins approximately two hours before the concert starts. Specific times will be included in the informational email we will send to you 5 to 7 days prior to the show.

Q: MAY I TAKE MY OWN PHOTOS DURING THE BACKSTAGE TOUR?

A: No. For safety and security reasons, personal photos during the Backstage VIP Tour are not allowed for this unique experience. As noted, you will receive one professional photo on stage taken by our staff.

Q: WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THE PRE-SHOW PRIVATE BACKSTAGE TOUR?

A: Check-In for the Private Backstage Tour begins approximately two hours before the concert starts, and the Backstage Tour starts approximately 1 1/2 hours before show time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Specific times will be included in the informational email we will send to you 5 to 7 days prior to the show.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE TO CHECK IN FOR THE PRE-SHOW BACKSTAGE TOUR?

A: The Pre-Show Private Backstage Tour is on a strict schedule so that our show can start on time. We recommend arriving early to allow for traffic, ensure you have plenty of time to park and find your way to the VIP Check-In Area. Unfortunately, latecomers will not be able to join the tour once it has begun and no refunds will be made.

Q: ARE THE CLOSE PERSONAL FRIEND OF AL JACKETS AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT SIZES?

A: Yes, the jackets are available in sizes from XS through XXXL.

Q: HOW CAN I CHOOSE MY JACKET SIZE?

A: In the email you will receive 5-7 days before the show, you will be able to indicate which size you’d like. We will also have several sizes available on-site in case you need to swap.

Q:  If I’m unable to make it to VIP Check-In during check-in hours, will I still be able to attend the after-show Meet & Greet and collect my merchandise?

A:  Yes, the VIP details email that you will be sent approximately one week prior to your show will have full instructions in case you or anyone in your VIP group arrive late.  Please note that if you are not able to make it at all we cannot guarantee the merchandise will be mailed to you.

Q:  Is VIP parking included in my package?

A:  No, parking is not included.

Q:  Can I have a personal item autographed at the Meet & Greet instead of the tour poster?

A:  Yes, you may have a personal item signed in place of the poster, but not as an additional autograph.  Each VIP Package includes one autograph only.  If you choose to have a personal item autographed in place of the poster, you will still receive your poster, unsigned.

Q: If anyone from my group attending the show has not purchased a VIP Package, can they still accompany me or the rest of my VIP group into the Post-Show Meet & Greet area to wait for us?

A: No, only those who have purchased VIP Packages have access to the Meet & Greet area.

Q: What time does the Post-Show Meet & Greet begin?

A: The Post-Show Meet & Greet generally begins 15-20 minutes after the show.  Further details will be in your confirmation email 1 week prior to the show.

Q: Can I have a group photo taken in addition to my single photo with Al?

A: Yes, you may request one additional complimentary photo with your group of two or more people.

Q: WHAT IF I ONLY WISH TO PURCHASE A VIP PACKAGE FOR MY CHILD AND NOT FOR MYSELF?

A: You do not need to purchase an additional VIP Package for yourself if you only wish to have your child attend. However, children 13 or under must be accompanied by an adult into the Meet & Greet area. You may escort your child into the VIP Experience without purchasing an additional VIP Package.

Q:  I have an accessible seating ticket for my show. Is there accessibility for the VIP Program?

A:  Yes!  The VIP Program is fully accessible.  After your purchase, we kindly ask that you please contact us at VIP@weirdal.com to let us know your accessibility needs so we can ensure that you have a smooth and safe time during the VIP Experience.
